Theatre productions at Lehigh

Lehigh University Theatre - Women and man surprised

Theatre is one of the oldest undergraduate activities at Lehigh. The production program is built on a tradition that dates back the 1884 founding of the Mustard and Cheese Drama Society. Many production opportunities are possible each year in four major productions, three to five student-directed, designed and acted black box productions. Productions are open to all Lehigh students; you don't have to be a theatre major or enrolled in Theatre courses to participate onstage or backstage. Because the shows support the theatre curriculum, our faculty guide show selection. Diversity is a critical component of academic excellence and we are committed to open casting and productions that speak to various perspectives we find in life.

Auditions for the major productions and the student initiated productions are held at the beginning of each term. Information regarding the productions is posted online and is posted in the theatre department, located in the Zoellner Arts Center.
